Jersey Season – Cyclocross Nationals
I had a great race on Saturday.
It was the Canadian Cyclocross National Championships and, like last year, I was second – but it was a different battle.

Big block of racing to start off the cx season and almost even bigger results! First UCI win, World Cup top 10’s… it’s been a lot, I can hardly believe it.
2019 Mountain Bike World Championships, Mont Sainte Anne, Canada – 32nd. Third time to MSA and I finally get to put a check-mark beside it. Being able to cap this season just shy of the top 30 (again), be clean and calm on all the major features, and ride away knowing next time I’ll be…
Christmas Cross totally lived up to and exceeded all expectations I had coming into it. I learned so much in and out of racing over the past two weeks. Highlight of the last three races was definitely racing to my first Euro top 10 in Baal.
First bike trip abroad and not wasting any time diving straight in to the two biggest cyclocross World Cup’s on the circuit. Great racing, crazy fans, awesome team.
Last year, my brother Ryan moved to Norway – because he has a dream. Now obviously this two week race trip to Belgium is totally different than uprooting my life to chase a dream, but I’m excited for this opportunity and hope it might help inspire vision for myself.
It’s real – 2nd place at Nationals! This feels like a win for me.
Starting from the back row this weekend – surprisingly not that bad. While I didn’t have any expectations or benchmarks I was trying to achieve this weekend, I always sort of hope I can race with, and be of a similar class to the best of the field.
I’ve gotten most of the dirt out from between my toes after a dusty couple days of racing down in Rochester, NY. It was a great intro to cyclocross – fun course, good crew, and tight racing. On Saturday I placed 9th, and on Sunday I finished two places better in 7th and only 2:09 back after being 3:00 back on opening day.
Paris to Ancaster – 25th edition.
1st – Jenn Jackson
2nd – Becca Fahringer
3rd Helen Wyman
