I’d just like to make a quick note to say that I will not be writing any new posts in the foreseeable future… My decision comes not from a lack of content to share (or terrible secrets that I can’t share…), but rather because I feel like I’m in a bit of a rut right now and need to unload some things.

I don’t considering blogging to be an arduous or cumbersome task, I genuinely enjoy writing and think there are definitely positives that come from sharing what goes on in the day-to-day life of a (sort of) elite skier. It’s just that I don’t feel positive or comfortable enough to be blogging when the message/story of what I am doing and going through is not clear right now; so for the time being, I will be focussing on taking care of myself so I can be in top blogging shape later in the year when things get more interesting. Got to hold off that blogging peak for when it counts…

As for a quick update on how things are going right now – I’m in Canmore along with the entire team, as well as the AWCA and CNEPH training centres and the National Ski Team for a training camp. We will be here until early July, then I will be heading back to Thunder Bay for the LSSD/Ontario Team camp and regular training. Hopefully I will be back in the blog game by then. You can subscribe to post notifications in the right hand column, or send an email via the “Contact” tab if you need to get a hold of me.

Until some time,

  1. Totally understand. Everyone gets stuck from time to time. It’s good to be aware of your needs and do something about it.
